Delhi: The motion poster of Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh, which famous film director Rajkumar Santoshi is preparing, is out. Gandhi-Godse Ek Yudh marks Rajkumar Santoshi's return to directing after a gap of 9 years.


The director, who is known for his contribution of path-breaking films to Indian cinema, is all set to present a movie based on the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse. The director released the motion poster of the film on 26 January 2023.




From Andaas Apna Apna to Fata Poster Nikla Hero, Rajkumar Santoshi is a director who has delivered some great films on the big screen in the past. The video depicting the ideological battle between Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse increases the audience's curiosity about the film.


The talented Deepak Antani plays the role of Mahatma Gandhi, and the film features Chinmay Mandlekar as Nathuram Godse. The video also features footage of other prominent figures in history, including India's former Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.



Asghar Wajahat and Rajkumar Santosh write Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh. Produced by Santoshi Productions LLP, the film is a PVR Pictures release. The music is composed by AR Rahman in the movie. Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh releases in theaters on 26 January 2023 on Republic Day.
